Record a band in a small room using the “XY” mic configuration

The XY mic configuration is great for live recordings, room ambiance, acoustic guitar, choirs, or drum overheads. It has minimal phase issues, since the capsules are so close. Unfortunately, the mic holders provided by the manufacturer are the same height and will not cross each other at a flat angle.

Solution: design and print a holder that is a capsule diameter taller than the other.
